I have a book, The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss. There's a painting he did called A Plethora of Cats. I love its explosion of colors and myriad of faces; So I made my own similar painting with coyotes instead of cats. I painted the eyes with glow-in-the-dark paint for that eerie feel when the lights go out. Although it only lasts a little bit after the lights are turned out before it fades.
This is an original oil & acrylic painting on a 24" x 48" gallery canvas.
